Show Notes

When was the last time you bragged on yourself? It’s hard, right? The word "brag" gets a bad rap. We’re taught from a very young age that bragging about ourselves is a negative thing. But the truth is, there’s a right way to brag on yourself.  When it’s done right it can help you get a better job and even better pay. You have a lot to be proud of, right?! It’s time to let people know about it. That's why I'm so excited to introduce you to my guest, Dr. Winifred Bragg.

Dr. Bragg is the creator of The Bragg Factor®, a system that teaches entrepreneurs, college students, and other professionals how to own and communicate their value.  Dr. Bragg is the Best-Selling author of four books including a three-part series that focuses on personal growth and leadership. She is a public speaker for corporations such as Fortune 500 companies and universities.

She is also the CEO of The Spine and Orthopedic Pain Center in Norfolk, VA which provides non-surgical pain management.

I loved my conversation with Dr. Bragg. We talked about how we can address the mental pain we experience around self-promotion and instead confidently talk about accomplishments for better opportunities and achieve success.  She totally helped reframe the way I think about bragging and why I should start bragging on myself more. You just never know what it might lead to. I hope you’re ready to learn a lot!
